The Mainare Playa Hotel (formerly the Hotel Masplaya) stands in pleasant well-maintained gardens, back from the coastal road (and next to the Fuengirola Park). The beach is approximately 150 metres away through an underpass, however the pleasant sun terrace around the swimming pool is a great spot to relax and unwind a little closer to home. Hotel rooms are comfortable, and there are two lounge bars from where you can enjoy a drink or two. Nearby the hotel in Torreblanca there are shops, bars, restaurants and bus or train services operating to the centre of Fuengirola with trains continuing to Malaga. If you enjoy walking the hotel is approximately a half hour stroll along the sea front promenade into Fuengirola. Guests may use the facilities of Hotel Fuengirola Park.
