This hotel enjoys a unique setting in Geremeas (a municipality of Quartu Santa Elena), just 21 km from Cagliari, against the backdrop of the mountains of the Natural Park of Sette Fratelli (where it is possible to spot deer and mouflons). Within 700 m of the hotel there is the renowned sandy beach Kala e Moru, which is over 2 km long. Cagliari is only 20 minutes' drive along on the coast road and Cagliari Airport is only 31 km away. Historic records relate that the original building was built by monks (this is proved by the small church still present on the site today). Over the years, the property was turned into a flourishing farm as can be seen by the structure and also by the orchard. Because of the ancient features still visible (such as wooden walls, clay and straw bricks, stone floors, wooden and wrought-iron furniture) the hotel is a heritage-listed building. The refurbishment of the hotel has safeguarded the features and the magical atmosphere of the original building.
