Tashkent is located on the ancient Silk Road, the trading route between China and the West. Shopping facilities can be found around 10 minutes away from the hotel. The historical hotel was the first hotel in Tashkent (it was built in 1958) but has been completely renovated. It offers 223 rooms with views to the courtyard (garden) and the Opera House. Facilities at this air-conditioned city hotel include a lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access to the upper floors.
